Family evening at the hatcheries

Going out as a family is always fun and stressful at the same time. Sometimes arguments start to erupt and have to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand in front of strangers. It’s always Lily and Ethan that seem to always having issues getting a long and get very territorial about Kay.

Aside from that brief little spat, we had a great time! The stroll was nice and got to see two fishing ponds with ducks in them. Kay wanted to go into the pond after the ducks but we restrained her from running in! Can you imagine her just not caring that it was a bit polluted and that its just a fishing catch and release pond? I thought, if we don’t hold on to her, she surely would have jumped in and laughed at the whole concept. She’s just super spunky and adventurous like that.

We played a bit in the park. She didn’t like how high the slide was, but still let lily hold her down the slide. I am glad she had fun and that she always loves to be outdoors.

Branden really loves the spider climbing ropes (I don’t know what else to call it!) and I was able to capture a photo of all three enjoying themselves in it.

I hope we can go there again, or even to a different park and just enjoy more family time despite Stevens hectic work schedule.
