It’s starting to get chilly out and being though that I am sick with a cold, I just needed something warm, simple and delicious in my tummy. This recipe is just something I enjoy making it and it is healthy and cooks in no time! You can even throw all the ingredients in the crock pot early in the morning and come home to a delicious meal once you get home.
What you need:
Cream of mushroom or chicken whichever you have
A pint of chicken stock
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
1 cube of chicken buillon
6 cups water
1 head of broccoli
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon parsley
Half an onion
1 head of broccoli chopped roughly
2 tablespoons adobo
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 packet of cream cheese
I used 7 potatoes for my family size of 6 but you can accommodate the potatoes to your size or make this batch and have enough for two days.
I added Bay leaves and some basil. That’s just how I like my soup.
I let it cook for 1 hour and serve with biscuits. I add some cheddar cheese on top once served and viola, there’s a simple and healthy soup to make you feel good and keep you warm.
